Ponderings

I was going to write more last week because I was on vacation but I guess I was enjoying the time off. The play was good. It had the kind of audience I thought it would have. I will miss having somewhere to go at night but at least I don't have to listen to those lines any more.

I'm just glad we didn't get the snow they got in Ohio and that area. It was kind of nice except for the below zero temps at night. This week it's suppose to be in the thirty's all week. Yeah! It's time for the snow to leave. But now, the mud begins.

I recently got a couple of books. One is The Secret and the other is about 2012. The Secret was just what I thought it would say. Be positive in everything you do and positive things will come back to you. That about sums it up. I try to be as positive as possible in my life, it's not easy when your PMSing, if you know what I mean.
The other book about 2012 is also very interesting. It talks about things that could happen or are predicted to happen and why. I believe something big will happen, the question is what? One reason for something happening is that on Dec. 21, 2012 our sun and our planet will be lined up in the middle of the Milkyway Galaxy. It could create a magnetic pull that could change our poles in such away that we will have new north and south poles. It might be happening already. It's based on the Mayan calender which is very accurate. Wouldn't be amazing if this happened? How will the world react? Will we come together or will we fight one another that much more?
Then again maybe nothing will happen and we will go on as we have been and gradually be replaced by machines. It's another idea in the book.

Now for the thought of the day:
"Just because it's simple doesn't mean it won't work."

Jean Viken Cold Case

When I first started this blog one of the first things I wrote about was the murder of a local woman. She disappeared Jan 29th 2008 on one of the coldest days of that month. Her body was found I think in May of that year. She had been shot. Her van was found not long after she went missing up north. She was the mother of 4 young children and was going through a divorce at the time. Well here it is 2 years later and nothing has happened to try and find the person or persons responsible for her death. Why? I'm sure the whoever was responsible was really not that smart. It's as if the no one wants to get to the bottom of what really happened to her. Maybe she was not important enough. Maybe she was not connected to the right people.  I wonder what it would take to get more exposure to this cold case. Jean Viken update and other local things.

This past week Channel 7 has been doing stories on the cold case of Jean Viken.I did see one of them. In it the police said they know who did it but they are waiting for someone to come forward. But no matter what four young children will be without their mother for the rest of their lives because someone decided to end her life out of the meanness of their heart. Here is the story I found on the internet: Jean Viken's friends and family remember her as a loving mother of four young kids, a devoted daughter and sister. But nearly four years after her murder, a dark cloud hangs over Jean's memory, as they continue to search for answers. "We were having a birthday party for her because all of her friends would have wanted to get together like we would have done if she was here," Jane Hempel said. Pondering Japan's Earthquake

The earthquake in Japan is just another wake up call for us. It is so far the largest disaster we are dealing with right now. And with all those nuclear power plants having problems there, it will get a whole lot worse.  The earth is talking to us. Telling us the big change is upon us. Instead of fighting wars in other countries we should be preparing our people for this big change that will change our home, planet Earth, in a way that will make life allot more difficult to survive.  Japan had prepared for this kind of event to a point, but this kind of event to this degree is never fool proof.  My heart does go out to all those who are living through this right now.  I will give one prediction for the near future that some might say makes me sound like a crack pot but it is always a possibility.  Here it is: With all the things happening right now natural disasters and political unrest big changes are inevitable.
