Ponder Pages

Well, September is gone. This year is just fling by.  It had it's up and downs but mostly uneventful.  One sad thing that happened was our dog , Fawn passed away. She will be greatly missed. As for animals in the house I still have a cat, Minnie. But I'm not sure how long she has. She is almost 16 years old. I thought she would have gone before the dog. But once she is gone, for the first time in my whole life I will not have some kind of animal in the house. But for now Minnie is enjoying me all to herself without a dog chasing her away from me.  I still animals outside. Plus all the wild life that likes to show up in the yard.  Well believe it or not I have finished a project: I know it's not Easter. But it was the next pattern in the book. The next one will be one that will fit in for  Thanksgiving. I should get it done. As for the rest of the month, not a lot of outstanding things happened. I keep trying to get myself to make litt...

Well it's the beginning of a another month. This year is just flying by.  I had kind of a busy September. I was on vacation for two weeks. I know you want to know what I did for two weeks. Well here is the run down of what I did for two weeks.  The first thing is I went to my family cabin on the Saturday before Labor day and hung out with the family. I brought my game Cards against Humanity. Thanks to my girls I have I think all of the expansion packs so I have the Bigger Blacker Box. If your someone who gets offended very easily do not play this game. You must have a sense of humor when you play this game. I didn't bring my camera so no pictures. And no I do not have a smart phone, I have a flip phone. I'm old school. I believe a phone is for phone calls. Not taking pictures, playing games and checking out whatever or whoever at a moments notice, just because your nosy and  need instant answers.  It was nice hanging out with the family for the day and it...

Well it's the first of the month again. I know I keep promising to post more often and I don't. I do try to think about it. I'm starting to make little notes about things I could ponder but for some reason I don't. One day I will surprise you and do it more often. Anyway here is the latest picture of the swing. I decided to change the angle I take. We have used the fire pit a few times. It's very cozy. Maybe some time soon I'll have to invite a few friends to come over for a little campfire therapy. I also want to get some special chairs to put around the pit. Here is the picture from last year.  Looks a bit different. Once again I have not made a project from the book but I will be starting one real soon I promise. As for pondering's, there are a few different things I can write about. October first. A whole month since I wrote anything. Sorry. I haven't been in the mood to ponder on Ponder Pages.  The first thing I will do right now is share the first of the month picture of the swing. As you can see the trees are a little colorful, so fall is upon us. Most of the trees around my place have lost almost all their leaves. This week is colder then last week. Some of those people who say they forecast the weather are saying we could even see a little of that white stuff. The horror of it all. I'm not ready for another winter especially if it's anything like the last one. I just have to take a deep breath, let it out slow and say to myself, "I can handle anything nature has to throw at me.
