OK  now that May 21st has come and gone some people are wondering, now what? Well I'll make it simple, life goes on. As for the next date Oct 21, 2011, I think the chance the whole world will die a fiery death has a very slim chance of happening. Although I did read this morning that a volcano has started erupting in Iceland again. Enough that it is once again disrupting air travel in that area. The end of the world will not happen all in one day. Nothing will happen all in one day.Unless of course a large mentor crashes to Earth or a solar flare knocks out all electronic things, then all bets are off. Until then I will live my life as I always have. Footloose and fancy free. I just wonder what all those people who really believed the end was happening will do now? I heard some quite their jobs and sold everything. Why do that if the world was going to end? You can't take money with you when you go. Just more unemployed people looking for a job. Oh well, on with the future. ...

The future of Japan does not look good to me. They would have been able to eventually recover sooner if it was only the earthquake and tsunami but when the nuclear issue happened all bets were off.  How much of Japan will become uninhabitable and for how long? I never realized Japan had so many nuclear plants.  What I find kind of scary is building all those plants in an area that is so prone to earthquakes. The US also could face this same problem someday. They have a number of plants built by major fault lines. They can say they have plans in place for any situation so there is not much danger to anyone.  As we can see their plans are not working very well.  Maybe,eventually, they might be able to get it somewhat under control but the danger will always be there.         By then we just might be hearing from another potential problem. With all of those earthquakes and after shocks a volcano or two might just wake up and show it's power. ...

Happy New Year everyone!!!!! I feel like 2010 is going to be a good year for me. Well, at least a year of some kind of big changes. What are they? Beats me. I just feel like things are going to go really right for me this year. If I can hold onto this positive feeling all year better things will start happening. Or maybe I'll just start to see things in a different light. Maybe it's just a change in my point of view. Whatever it is I have good feelings about the future. 2009 was not the best year for me or most other people. Like the husband got cut in pay so much I now make more then he does and he runs a loading dock. So many other people have lost so much my heart goes out to them. Maybe for awhile materialism will not be so important. People were shown how out of hand greed has gotten. Some greedy are paying for it but not as much as the rest of us would like to see happen. Some of them are just laying low for awhile waiting for the time they can resume the royal pain...
