Ponder Pages

I was sitting here trying to think of something to write about and I'm afraid I can't think of any one thing to write about. Here are a few things that have been bouncing around in my head lately. Mother nature: The fire out in Colorado was apparently started by mother nature herself with the help from some little beetles. I hear someone say that this fire could be burning like this all summer. Can you imagine how much this fire could burn if this happened? But where I am it had been getting kind of dry. Lawns were starting to turn brown but now it's been raining, except today. It's suppose to be sunny and maybe close to 80. The other night there were frost warnings out. The rest of the week it's suppose to be rainy, again. So today, for Father's day, it will be nice here. So Dad's enjoy the day. The husband here could be maybe baling a little hay that he had cut down the other day, if it's not to wet other wise it maybe going to waste if the weath...

I just decided to ponder some of things I've seen on the news lately dealing with common sense. The first thing is about the interruption of Facebook. It made me laugh at how some people got so upset over not being able to get on to it. I do have a facebook account but I don't spend much time on it. I use to play like farmville but soon got bored with it because it got to demanding with the up keep. I have the real thing outside, in the real world. I post from time to time but I have no need to tell people what I'm doing and thinking every few hours. I save it all up for this blog.Maybe not all of it. Just when the need to write something becomes overpowering. Like now, do I have common sense? Another thing I saw was about a couple of girls fighting and one of the moms was there cheering her daughter on. It had been posted on U-tube.The mom has been charged with something. I think I'll make this post about things that have been bugging me lately. One thing is all the media coverage about Lindsey Lohan. Enough already! She is just another ego driven person who can't see what she is really doing to herself. If I could give her advice I would say; Take this time you are spending in jail and take a real hard look at your life. Honestly think about the direction your life is taking. Is being so self absorbed really going to get you anywhere but more lost? After jail, I hope rehab will get you off all those unnecessary drugs. Believe me once you see life through clear eyes it will take your breath away. And if I could suggest one more thing I would say move away from the Hollywood scene for about three years. Another thing is how Sarah Palin and her family keep popping up.  I don't know about where you are but it's a little too hot and sticky here. I know I should not complain for what we have here. What they have on the east coast is far worse then what we have here. So call me a whiner. I'll just say I work with cheese, it comes with the territory. Any who, since it's too hot and sticky to do things outside without feeling like a wet rag I think I'll just write a few comments about things I've heard on the news. The first thing I'd like to comment on is Lindsey. It's about time someone did something to try and start to open her eyes about the real world. Just because she has been in movies does not make her above the law when it comes to paying the price for doing something against it. If just your average Joe or Jane did what she did the law would not have been so lenient with making sure the price was paid in a reasonable time. We finally got some rain and things are starting to green up. The bad part about it warming up is the wood ticks are out now. I hate wood ticks. The husband and I after it had stopped raining last night, when it was getting dark, decided to take a little walk to see if we could see any turkeys roosting in a tree. We saw three. When we got back in the house I sat down and felt something on my hand. It was a tick. I quickly ran to the bathroom and tried to flush it down the toilet. It would not get off my hand right away. After a few attempts it finally fell in. I flushed the toilet a couple of times to make sure it went down. The worst part is I've been itching ever since. So as I'm writing this I keep scratching. Just call me Itchy Scratchy. The weather has been so strange. Like yesterday it was about 80 degrees. The day before that it was maybe in the high 40's. Today maybe 50's.
