Ponder Pages

I know it's been a while since I've written anything. I just didn't know what I could add to things that wasn't already being said.  The question that is often on my mind is: How did we get here? Then I realized it's because we are living in the time of Stupid. I like to say, imagine life is a bus. Standing on the side of the road is Common Sense. The bus is being driven very fast by Stupid. Stupid will not stop the bus and let Common Sense on because if he does then Common Sense will take over and the bus will slow down.  Stupid is not about to give up the controls.  Others who are on the bus right now are lazy, con men, egomaniacs, whinners, greed, manipulators, the very selfish, and that's just the ones in the front of the bus. Stupid driving the bus didn't just happen all of a sudden. There was a time when Common Sense was driving some of the time. They would take turns. But then there came a time when Stupid found a way to get Common Sense off the bus c...

   Does common sense exist any more? I was asking people this question today at work just to see what kind of answers I would get. Some said yes.  Some said nope. A few said it's on life support.  I then asked a couple other questions, like: Do politicians have common sense? Everyone said. Do bankers have common sense? Most said no. Some said that some do but not much. When it comes to the politicians I don't think anyone of them has any common sense. Take the recent scandal over sending a boner to some different females via twitter. I just want to ask why he thought it would not be found by others. When are people going to learn not to put those kind of pictures out there on the internet. I always watch what I put out there. I don't put many personal pics out there that could be used by someone else in away that it could be used in ways that it was not meant to be. I just decided to ponder some of things I've seen on the news lately dealing with common sense. The first thing is about the interruption of Facebook. It made me laugh at how some people got so upset over not being able to get on to it. I do have a facebook account but I don't spend much time on it. I use to play like farmville but soon got bored with it because it got to demanding with the up keep. I have the real thing outside, in the real world. I post from time to time but I have no need to tell people what I'm doing and thinking every few hours. I save it all up for this blog.Maybe not all of it. Just when the need to write something becomes overpowering. Like now, do I have common sense?
