Ponder Pages

Well another month has gone by. How was your month? For me personally, not to bad. I did decide to start letting my inner bitch come out from time to time when needed. I'm tired of always caving in to others and letting them do what they want even though my wants and needs are just as important as theirs. So watch out world here I come, ready or not. Let's see, how about the weather. This last month was either hot or very wet. Up north of here close to Ashland, a number of roads were washed out during one rain storm. Some of these roads will be awhile before they are fixed right. I just wonder what this month will bring. Will it continue or have a sudden change? I think there is a possibility we could have an early winter around here with colder temps then we had this last time. Bears are starting to hit some of the neighbors bird feeders. That's why I do not feed the birds in the summer or fall. I will put seed out after I know the bears are hopeful...

This is going to be my year!  I can feel it! The pondering questions are, will I know it when it happens? Or will I only see it after the fact? I'm hoping to have many great adventures and challenges. I've got two going so far. My projects. And my exercise bike challenge. There is room for so many more though. Like finally getting something going for all the old letters and pictures. Finding myself opening up more and not being afraid to express myself more.  To stop being over critical of myself. Believe in me. A few things I think the world needs less of are as follows: Miley Cyrus and her trying to be the most shocking person. My words to her would be, "It's not shocking, you are just demeaning yourself and will regret it later if you are not already." Well Christmas is over. I hope everyone enjoyed their time with family and friends. Mine I guess you can say was uneventful. At least nothing earth shattering happened.  Like allot of the country we had a white Christmas. This is the whitest Christmas we have had in a long time. This picture was actually taken the day before Christmas. On Christmas it snowed lightly all day so there is even more snow piled up.  Anyway now that 2013 is almost over, finally. It's time to start pondering the future of 2014. What will this year hold for the world? What will it hold for me? What kind of new dramas will be exposed?(As if we didn't have enough in the last one).  The world is run by drama. I decided awhile ago to challenge myself with some projects. What you ask? Plastic canvas things that what. I have a number of books and magazines with all kinds of patterns. So after some deciding I choose this one.    I will be making all 101 things in this book. I've already started. Here are the ones I have done so far.  This one is in my bathroom, since I have an ocean kind of theme.  This one needs a home.  This is also for a tissue box and on the side a place for a spare TP roll or whatever else you want to put in it. It also needs a home.  I did make this one also. I gave it to my Mom for Easter. It kind of looks like their house and it's something she can leave out all the time. While sitting here at the computer trying to figure out what to do, I think I've come up with an idea to get myself posting something more often.  Ten words. The idea is for me to post ten words a day, hopefully. It might also give me something else to think about or focus on during the day rather then the same old same old. If your wondering what the ten words will be, it could be different each time.  What I mean is sometimes it could be ten random words that I write down during the day. Sometimes it could a sentence. Maybe even a short story. Or even a random quote from a book. Or a newspaper. There could be a possibility after the ten words I could write more about it. I want to try also to find a picture to go with the ten words. So here are my first ten words for the day. 

Yesterday I was looking around at some blogs I like to check out every once in awhile and I found one that caught my eye. It was called A Piece of Peace. This person suggested you find a book turn to page 123 write the 5th sentence down, tag five people who are suppose to do the same thing and see what they come up with. I decided to do something different for myself. I took ten random books off my shelves, turned to page 123, and wrote down the 5th full sentence on those pages.
