I know I'm a day late and a dollar short. I have a good excuse. I was on a short trip to Minnesota and did not get home till later in the day.  First here is the first of the month picture of the swing. (I did take one last night after we got home)  As you can see the food plot the husband planted is growing nicely.  I suppose your wondering what is in front of it now. Let me show you. It's our version of a fire pit area. It's not completely done yet but it is usable now. We plan on making a kind of planter around three sides where I hope to plant plants that help keep mosquitoes away. Plus on the corners will be places to hang containers for candles. I finally found what I wanted. They already have citronella candles in them. Now to get the right kind of weekend and it will be the perfect place to chill out.   I have not been working on any plastic canvas projects. I can't seem to get myself in the mood. Pondering this Morning's Questions

What is going on? Are people starting to lose it more and more? Is mother nature going through the change? These are some of the questions that are running through my head this morning. The first thing I noticed was a shooting in Tucson Arizona. So far six are dead, including a 9 year old girl and a federal judge. And a congress woman in very serious condition. The shooter is 22 years old. The reason I've heard so far is over health care. I just don't get it. Killing people will never solve any problems. It just makes it that much more intense to deal with. I know people are very frustrated over what is happening in this country with the lack of jobs, employers cutting jobs and expecting fewer workers to pick up the slack to save their profits. And the political scene. But killing others to make your point  in my opinion is pointless. The regular person is feeling trapped, helpless or just plain lost. They feel like they have no control over their own destiny. It just se...
