Your Grounded Young Lady

Image
I know it's been awhile since I posted, sorry.  Everyone here is doing well. The husband and I are both still working. But like everyone else we can't really go anywhere. It makes me feel like we are children that did something wrong and ticked off our parents so now we are grounded for a really long time. We can go to work and come straight home and that's it. Well,if you have to stop at the grocery store and get a couple of things but that's it. I'm trying not to watch to much news because that's all there is on it is the corna virus topic from every possible angle. This thing has been mismanaged from the very beginning. Our top leadership is the biggest problem. If he thinks his coming on TV everyday is helping, it's not.  We know it's bad. We know everyone is doing the best they can with what they have.  It's a very scary time to be alive.  I do live in the country so I can go outside if I want to into my yard. But the only ...

Two more projects completed and a hunting picture

Image
I now have two more projects done. This is the first one I did. It's a coaster set. It took a while to do this one. Putting it together, the coasters are two sided. So it was like doing 10 instead of 5. Plus putting together the barn.  This is the last one I've done. It's another coaster set. This one was very simple to do. I had it done in a couple of days. I only work on some of these things a couple of hours a day, when I get time and or I'm not to tired from all the other things I do everyday.  Well as for other things around here, it's been on the quite side except for the husband tearing a tendon by his knee and is now wearing a brace. With it being hunting season around here do you think it stopped him from hunting? No. Here is proof. He got it on the last day of gun season at the last possible moment. Our freezer will be full this winter.  Well right now it's snowing so I guess winter is here to stay. We wil...

Animals of the Gulf Disaster

Image
How long will we be seeing images like these? My guess would be for many generations.                                                                          Especially if we remain so dependent on oil for so many things in our lives.                          Just because we can do something does not mean we should. Are we do desperate for oil that we have to drill  down a mile under water to get it?  Or Is this all because of greed? No regard for what is affected a...

Snow, Again

Image
Sunday morning and all is quiet here. Yesterday was a not to bad of a day, weather wise. You only saw small piles of snow that had been plowed over the winter and were not melted all the way, yet. The husband and I delivered a load of hay and then spent the rest of the afternoon in Wausau with our youngest. I also did a little shopping. We saw lots of animals. Deer crossing the road. One almost slipping on a hill with lots of rocks making it a little bit harder to get where it was going. We also saw a lot of hawks flying around. This morning everything is once again all white outside. I'm really beginning to miss the green leaves on the trees and green grass. If you look close in this second picture you will see a Robin. I'm sure he is tired of being snowed on. While I was taking these pictures I could hear a tom turkey gobbling in the woods. The husband is looking forward to when it's his time to go turkey hunting. Toms only this time of year. With this one hanging aroun...
