Ponder Pages

It's the beginning of another month and almost the end of another year. Where has the time gone?  Before I get into any pondering I'll share the latest picture of the swing. I took this after I got home from work. But it was sleeting at the time. Now here is what it looked like last year. It was sunnier and we had more snow last year.  This last month for me was uneventful for me. The husband did get one deer during the gun season. An eight pointer. Want to see? No he did not shoot it in the yard. He was in the woods back behind our place away. We never seen this fellow in the yard. Not even on the trail camera he sets up every once in awhile in the yard.  I wonder if Fred survived the season and if I'll see him again. Maybe next year I'll be calling him Stanley. Well it's the first of the month again. I know I keep promising to post more often and I don't. I do try to think about it. I'm starting to make little notes about things I could ponder but for some reason I don't. One day I will surprise you and do it more often. Anyway here is the latest picture of the swing. I decided to change the angle I take. We have used the fire pit a few times. It's very cozy. Maybe some time soon I'll have to invite a few friends to come over for a little campfire therapy. I also want to get some special chairs to put around the pit. Here is the picture from last year.  Looks a bit different. Once again I have not made a project from the book but I will be starting one real soon I promise. As for pondering's, there are a few different things I can write about. Lately things seam like they are getting more and more unstable. Not to say things were even stable to begin with. Like Putin.   For some reason this guy is being like totally cagey. At least that's one way to put it. The way I see it is he wants to bring the Soviet Union back together again, just like it was when he was younger. If he has to start WWIII so be it. I'm so glad I'm not a politician. What a mess to have to deal with. They have to complicate things so much because they always want to be top dog. I just wonder what his next move will be. If could talk to him I'd ask him if he really thinks things would be better. The way the world economies are right now it don't matter what anyone does it can't be fixed or improved. Remember the more you have to take care of the bigger the head aches. Big government means having to take care of a lot more lazy bums. Smaller is better. The bigger you get the more epic the fail. What can I say about this shooting that has not already been said? I would like to to say my thoughts and prayers go out to all of those who are personally involved in this incident in a way I know they never imagined they would ever be. So many questions are going through everyone's mind on how something like this could have happened. Most of them will never be honestly answered. My thoughts about this person who did this are as follows: He was has been very lost to the real world for a long time. For his mother to say," You've got the right person." Tells me she know exactly how lost he was. He was so lost he created a fantasy world where he believed he was the Joker. Always smiling in every picture. What I'd like to ask is why he chose that moment to unleash his fantasy world on to the real world in such a devastating way? There is nothing anyone can do to undo what has been done.
