Racking my brain for something to write about

Image
I was sitting here trying to think of something to write about and I'm afraid I can't think of any one thing to write about. Here are a few things that have been bouncing around in my head lately. Mother nature: The fire out in Colorado was apparently started by mother nature herself with the help from some little beetles. I hear someone say that this fire could be burning like this all summer. Can you imagine how much this fire could burn if this happened? But where I am it had been getting kind of dry. Lawns were starting to turn brown but now it's been raining, except today. It's suppose to be sunny and maybe close to 80. The other night there were frost warnings out. The rest of the week it's suppose to be rainy, again. So today, for Father's day, it will be nice here. So Dad's enjoy the day. The husband here could be maybe baling a little hay that he had cut down the other day, if it's not to wet other wise it maybe going to waste if the weath...

Two local tragedies

Image
The first tragedies I'm thinking of happened on Sunday. The movie theater in Abbostford burned. It was a historic building in down town Abbostford. The saddest part is a firefighter was killed when the roof fell in from the weight of the snow on the roof from last weeks snow storm. His name was Jamison N. Kampmeyer. He was 34 years old. He was a volunteer firefighter for Colby plus a Sheriff deputy for Marathon County. He was an instructor at NTC. Plus a member of the S.W.A.T. team. He was married with three children, the youngest being only 4 months old. As of right now the cause of the fire is not yet known.   This UW Stevens Point student, Eric Duffy,  was reported missing Saturday Morning after he had been out celebrating his 21st birthday. He had left the bar alone to go back to where he was living. The sad part is they found his body Monday in the Wisconsin River. He was originally from Fitchburg. I wish that when people are out drinking like that, they would som...

Good News, Bad News

Image
Well the good news to the world is this bad guy has come to end. Bad news for him though. The question is what is next for Libya. I hope more good things are to come for them. Hoping that they find the right kind of leadership that will bring happiness, harmony, and peace to the whole country. Bad news for Harold Camping, we are all still here. Good news for the rest of us. Unless you were an evil dude. Then the world did end for you a day or so earlier then it was suppose too. Good news for this dog in Wausau that was saved by these two fire fighters, when they gave him mouth to  snout after they rescued him from his burning house. Bad news this guy releasing his exotic animal collection then killing himself. All of those beautiful animals killed because of this bad guy's twisted mind. It makes you wonder what he did to those animals before he let them go. My guess is he was not feeding them so that when they were released they became very aggressive and deadly to anyon...

Tractor fire

Image
Just before the fourth of July one of my brother-in-laws tractors started on fire. As of right now I have not heard if they know exactly what started it. The husband thinks it might have been the starter.  The brother-in-law had been using it all day and had it parked near the barn because he had to milk the cows. He did not know it was on fire right away. It was not until he was in the barn doing chores when he noticed some black smoke rolling across the field. He went out outside to find out what was on fire. It was the tractor, he grabbed a water hose and proceeded to put out the fire .   It's a good thing it was Diesel or it could have been a very big fireworks, up close and personal.
