Pondering What's next

Image
This election has been exactly what I thought it would be. One big mess. Some people are just sore losers. The longer he drags this out the worse it will be for him in the long run. It will be bad for him anyway. When he is no longer the leader other things about him will be exposed and he and his family could end up wearing orange things. Maybe they will be the next "Orange is the New Black" cast . But one of the things I am fearing the most is, some of the people that support him.  Like this guy. Not to say his supporters are all like him. But President Dweeb does encourage some people to be very disruptive whenever possible.  One thing this election did expose, is the deep divides in this country are only getting deeper. I'm not sure this country will ever be able to feel safe again. That is the saddest part.  So what do we do? Well, no matter who you are, it is time to settle down. Take a deep breath. Slowly let it out.   Ask yourself: "What kind of country...

Pondering the Virus

Image
I've got a few questions about the virus that keeps bouncing around in my head. 1. Is there more to this virus then they are telling us? 2. Are they making more out of it then they really need to? 3. Is this a political ploy? 4. Is this mess being made worse for political games? 5. Was it started when someone was playing around in a lab with things they should not be? 6. Are the aliens doing this to us because our stupidity is out of control? 7. Is this one of the ways to bring a great empire and or civilization to an end?  8. All of this over sanitizing, will it end up weakening our immune systems and make us more vulnerable to other things? 9. Is this a germ-a phobia conspiracy to make them feel normal? 10. Have I asked to many questions that have no real answers?    Just my pondering questions for the day. Remember, to keep on pondering the pondering possibilities.

ALL LIVES MATTER!!!!!

I don't know about you, but I'm tired of all the old ideas that should have been left at the side but are always front and center. Things are never going to change until we start living for a future and not the past view of things. We like to tell ourselves that everyone is here for a reason.  The question is what is the reason? Is it for the good or for the bad?  Are we suppose to continue to live for past things that happened generations ago? When we live like this the future will only look like the past. If the past is hated so much, how come so many insist on keeping it going? For I would like to be able to judge someone for them, not the bad image that is always being presented to me by others. Will we ever be able to live honestly with common sense? Will respect ever be a trend and something everyone really strives for? Sometimes it feels like the people who say they want to fix things are the ones making it worse. All people have got to come toge...

I know I'm a day late and a dollar short. I have a good excuse. I was on a short trip to Minnesota and did not get home till later in the day.  First here is the first of the month picture of the swing. (I did take one last night after we got home)  As you can see the food plot the husband planted is growing nicely.  I suppose your wondering what is in front of it now. Let me show you. It's our version of a fire pit area. It's not completely done yet but it is usable now. We plan on making a kind of planter around three sides where I hope to plant plants that help keep mosquitoes away. Plus on the corners will be places to hang containers for candles. I finally found what I wanted. They already have citronella candles in them. Now to get the right kind of weekend and it will be the perfect place to chill out.   I have not been working on any plastic canvas projects. I can't seem to get myself in the mood. Maybe when it starts getting colder again I...

Another month has gone by. Where is the year going?  I keep promising to post more often but for some reason I can not find the time and or motivation to do it. I do have another blog where I do have myself on a schedule, posting twice a week. That blog is called Dear Howard: A fading History, if you don't already know about it.  Plus right now I'm involved with a play, which I have a part in. The play is Called "A Bad Year for Tomatoes". The show dates are next weekend. It's a very funny play.  I  have not been making any plastic canvas because of the play plus I had to teach myself how do knit. My character knits on stage. Now the only thing I have to figure out is what to do with what I'm knitting.  Those are my present excuses for not posting here. Here is the picture I just took of the swing for the 1st of July.  If you notice in the background there are hay bales on the field. They belong to my brother-in-law. Now here is what it ...

August 1 and more other things to ponder

Image
I know it's been a while since I've posted anything but I'm sorry. The only excuse i have right now is it's summer and I'm not in the mood to ponder things to much right now. Not to say I haven't been thinking about things because I have. The first thing I will share with you is my first of the month picture of my swing. Ready, here it is. TA! DA! The swing!!!!!!!! The long grass behind it might be a little browner then last month but that's about it. I suppose you want to know what else I've been up to. Well I'm going to share a few pictures with you that I managed to take. This is what I see from time to time from by bedroom window.I manage to get this picture the other day. There is also three fawns the husband has seen in the field. I have not been able to get a picture of them yet. These are my three turkeys. It's always fun talking to them. I just kind of whistle at them and they talk back.  Remember the gnomes I w...
