Ponder Pages

Well it's the 1st of August. I don't know about you but it feels like this year has just been flying by faster then I want it to. July had it's moments.  Nothing earth shattering happened to me. We did go hiking a few times. When it was not raining or too hot or the husband was not baling hay. You want to see a few pictures? Well they are:  The hikes were all very good. The weather was just right most of the time. During the hikes we saw different things. During one hike the husband almost walked into a bear. He was in front of me and about to round a curve in the trail when he stopped and said "Woo". I said. "What?" He said, "Bear". That's when I heard the bear start to go crashing though the woods. He figured it was about a 300 lbs. I just hope we do not run into any more. I still plan on trying to get the trail through Taylor County done by I hope Labor Day weekend. At least that's when he want...

Well another month has gone by. How was your month? For me personally, not to bad. I did decide to start letting my inner bitch come out from time to time when needed. I'm tired of always caving in to others and letting them do what they want even though my wants and needs are just as important as theirs. So watch out world here I come, ready or not. Let's see, how about the weather. This last month was either hot or very wet. Up north of here close to Ashland, a number of roads were washed out during one rain storm. Some of these roads will be awhile before they are fixed right. I just wonder what this month will bring. Will it continue or have a sudden change? I think there is a possibility we could have an early winter around here with colder temps then we had this last time. Bears are starting to hit some of the neighbors bird feeders. That's why I do not feed the birds in the summer or fall. I will put seed out after I know the bears are hopeful...

It's the first of the month once again and I'm back. I keep saying I'll post something in-between but for some reason I can't get myself motivated to do it.I think it might be because I spend more time on Dear Howard: A fading History that when it comes to putting things on here my get up go has got up and went. If you wondering how long I will be posting on my other blog, I really can't say. It could be at least another year or more. There are a lot of letters to be shared yet. Anyway here is the picture of the swing I took this morning.  The husband decided to plant a food plot for the deer. It nice not looking at the weeds. I know it's been a while since I've posted anything but I'm sorry. The only excuse i have right now is it's summer and I'm not in the mood to ponder things to much right now. Not to say I haven't been thinking about things because I have. The first thing I will share with you is my first of the month picture of my swing. Ready, here it is. TA! DA! The swing!!!!!!!!
