Just Tired

My brain does not want to think lately about much of anything important. It's tired of all the political things on TV and the news. Tired of hearing about the war which is not ours but is a civil war, but I will say we did start things in motion for it. Tired of looking at white. Tired of seeing the price of gas go up and up never to see low prices again. Tired of celebrities who do dumb things just get their pics in as many magazines as possible. Tired of busy bodies who do nothing but try to make others look bad or accuse others of things they themselves are guilty of but pretend they don't till they are caught red handed and then try to get people to feel sorry for them.
I guess I'm just tired or maybe I'm just a nut in a rut.
I need a challenge, something different to do, a project of some kind, a mission of some sort. But what? I need ideas.
Maybe it's just a bad case of cabin fever. Or a maybe I've o.d.ed on seeing too much white. White outside and white at work. I want green. Lots and lots of green. Grass and trees that is.
Enough whining.

Jean Viken Cold Case

When I first started this blog one of the first things I wrote about was the murder of a local woman. She disappeared Jan 29th 2008 on one of the coldest days of that month. Her body was found I think in May of that year. She had been shot. Her van was found not long after she went missing up north. She was the mother of 4 young children and was going through a divorce at the time. Well here it is 2 years later and nothing has happened to try and find the person or persons responsible for her death. Why? I'm sure the whoever was responsible was really not that smart. It's as if the no one wants to get to the bottom of what really happened to her. Maybe she was not important enough. Maybe she was not connected to the right people.  I wonder what it would take to get more exposure to this cold case. Jean Viken update and other local things.

This past week Channel 7 has been doing stories on the cold case of Jean Viken.I did see one of them. In it the police said they know who did it but they are waiting for someone to come forward. But no matter what four young children will be without their mother for the rest of their lives because someone decided to end her life out of the meanness of their heart. Here is the story I found on the internet: Jean Viken's friends and family remember her as a loving mother of four young kids, a devoted daughter and sister. But nearly four years after her murder, a dark cloud hangs over Jean's memory, as they continue to search for answers. "We were having a birthday party for her because all of her friends would have wanted to get together like we would have done if she was here," Jane Hempel said. Pondering Japan's Earthquake

The earthquake in Japan is just another wake up call for us. It is so far the largest disaster we are dealing with right now. And with all those nuclear power plants having problems there, it will get a whole lot worse.  The earth is talking to us. Telling us the big change is upon us. Instead of fighting wars in other countries we should be preparing our people for this big change that will change our home, planet Earth, in a way that will make life allot more difficult to survive.  Japan had prepared for this kind of event to a point, but this kind of event to this degree is never fool proof.  My heart does go out to all those who are living through this right now.  I will give one prediction for the near future that some might say makes me sound like a crack pot but it is always a possibility.  Here it is: With all the things happening right now natural disasters and political unrest big changes are inevitable.
