What does it mean

Life plus a thousand years. What does that mean?
   
I'm not saying it's wrong. I'm glad he got what he got. At least the country did not have to hear about another trial for months that would cost the government allot of unnecessary expenses . Not to say that him being in jail for the rest of his life will be cheap either. It's the plus thousand years. Does it mean, that once he is dead  the prison keeps his body for a thousand years, then after that time is up they throw whatever is left of him out with the rest of the garbage? Just something to ponder.

There are other things I can wonder about why.
Like this thing with Snowden.

   
OK Russia is letting him stay there for a year. OK he did expose government secrets about how they spy on allot of people. (Hi guys, how's it going?) But what government doesn't do that? No matter how free you are there is always someone watching you. It's, in my opinion, comes from a world that is to interconnected. The more technology we have the harder it is to truly be private. So go on and get that new gadget and share things that you would never have dreamed of sharing thirty years ago. But then again if they can't find you that way maybe they will just keep an eye on you with one of their drones.

Is some unknown force trying to tell us something or are they just being artistic?

Jean Viken Cold Case

When I first started this blog one of the first things I wrote about was the murder of a local woman. She disappeared Jan 29th 2008 on one of the coldest days of that month. Her body was found I think in May of that year. She had been shot. Her van was found not long after she went missing up north. She was the mother of 4 young children and was going through a divorce at the time. Well here it is 2 years later and nothing has happened to try and find the person or persons responsible for her death. Why? I'm sure the whoever was responsible was really not that smart. Jean Viken update and other local things.

This past week Channel 7 has been doing stories on the cold case of Jean Viken.I did see one of them. In it the police said they know who did it but they are waiting for someone to come forward. But no matter what four young children will be without their mother for the rest of their lives because someone decided to end her life out of the meanness of their heart. Here is the story I found on the internet: Jean Viken's friends and family remember her as a loving mother of four young kids, a devoted daughter and sister. But nearly four years after her murder, a dark cloud hangs over Jean's memory, as they continue to search for answers. Pondering Japan's Earthquake

The earthquake in Japan is just another wake up call for us. It is so far the largest disaster we are dealing with right now. And with all those nuclear power plants having problems there, it will get a whole lot worse.  The earth is talking to us. Telling us the big change is upon us. Instead of fighting wars in other countries we should be preparing our people for this big change that will change our home, planet Earth, in a way that will make life allot more difficult to survive.  Japan had prepared for this kind of event to a point, but this kind of event to this degree is never fool proof.  My heart does go out to all those who are living through this right now.  I will give one prediction for the near future that some might say makes me sound like a crack pot but it is always a possibility.  Here it is: With all the things happening right now natural disasters and political unrest big changes are inevitable.
