Ponderings

Fall is here. Everything is falling. Leaves, acorns, stocks, banks, incomes, hope and soon there will be snow. Which means that there will bigger raises in the prices of everything in our lives.
Will we be able to figure out the best way to get things under control?
How long will it take to feel comfortable in life again?
Where did it all begin?
Who is really in control of things?

In my opinion greed has taken over the whole world. Nothing the average person can do will help. Maybe we should all go back to the barter system. We need to learn to live within our means. Having everything does not make you a better person.
Being a happy healthy human being will get you allot farther in life then having the latest so called hottest trend in your home.
Live simply and stress will be lower in your life.

I believe that no matter what we humans believe about being in control is totally wrong. Mother nature will decide our fate. And right now I believe she is going through the change. So hang on tight it's going to be a bumpy ride for a few years or maybe a decade.

Jean Viken Cold Case

When I first started this blog one of the first things I wrote about was the murder of a local woman. She disappeared Jan 29th 2008 on one of the coldest days of that month. Her body was found I think in May of that year. She had been shot. Her van was found not long after she went missing up north. She was the mother of 4 young children and was going through a divorce at the time. Well here it is 2 years later and nothing has happened to try and find the person or persons responsible for her death. Why? I'm sure the whoever was responsible was really not that smart. It's as if the no one wants to get to the bottom of what really happened to her. Maybe she was not important enough. Maybe she was not connected to the right people.  I wonder what it would take to get more exposure to this cold case. Jean Viken update and other local things.

This past week Channel 7 has been doing stories on the cold case of Jean Viken.I did see one of them. In it the police said they know who did it but they are waiting for someone to come forward. But no matter what four young children will be without their mother for the rest of their lives because someone decided to end her life out of the meanness of their heart. Here is the story I found on the internet: Jean Viken's friends and family remember her as a loving mother of four young kids, a devoted daughter and sister. But nearly four years after her murder, a dark cloud hangs over Jean's memory, as they continue to search for answers. Pondering Japan's Earthquake

The earthquake in Japan is just another wake up call for us. It is so far the largest disaster we are dealing with right now. And with all those nuclear power plants having problems there, it will get a whole lot worse.  The earth is talking to us. Telling us the big change is upon us.
