Pondering Graduation time

Well it's graduation time. It's time for you to find a job. Or maybe prepare for more schooling. Either way it's going to be an up hill battle.( It's a very big hill. More like a mountain.)
Unemployment is up, again.
And so is your debt.
Hopes for a good future are very low.
Depression is up.

You really have to think about more schooling, is it really worth it in the long run?
I never went on to collage, I only have a high school education. Not to say I wouldn't have liked to go to collage. But I'm still not sure what I want to be. So I dabble in this and I dabble in that.

I wonder if there are some of those jobs out there that people go to collage for that would be easier to get if instead of going to collage you could just be an apprentice to. You now learning what you need to know about the job and not having to take classes that have nothing to do with the subject at hand.  You start at the bottom and work your way up, without the massive debt you get from going to collage. On the job training could be better. You never know it could even be better for the economy, eventually

With the economy being as bad as it is, it's turning out to be extremely hard for anyone to find a job.
How did things get so bad  so fast?
Who do we blame?
Unfortunately there is no one person or thing to blame.
So many things are happening now around the world that just continue to mess things up I'm not sure we will ever be able to recover if somethings, thoughts and attitudes don't change.
Looking into my crystal ball  (which is finally out of the shop) things do not look good.
I can't go into details but I will say it's time to show mother nature a little bit more respect and ourselves.
So between mother nature throwing a hissy fit and many parts of the world having melt downs, oh and some people predicting the end of the world( now it's Oct 21, 2011) it's going to be a very bumpy ride here on out for everyone.
Maybe if the world was not so interconnected  it could help
And if people stopped using the stock market for gambling.
Oh and if smaller was thought of as better then bigger, it might help.
And if politicians would stop playing the blame game and be true leaders who really care about the little people, like me, who just want to feel secure and free with everyday life.

So to conclude I just want to wish all graduates good luck with their future because they are going to need it. And everyone else out there who is trying to make a go of it.
And don't forget to keep on pondering the pondering possibilities.
