Pondering the End of the world

Are you ready for the end of the world a week from today?
Really?
Next Saturday?
I wonder how it will happen.
Will it be like the movie 2011?
Or will we all just fall over dead for no reason at all?
I think that if it says it in the bible that exact statement should be posted on this sign so people can look it up for themselves.
What do I think will happen?
What happens everyday. The same old, same old. People will keep doing what they do everyday. I will do what I do everyday.
I will get up, and seeing it will be Saturday maybe post something here.
Have my breakfast while I watch the news.
After that I will do some house work.
Have a light lunch.
Maybe weather permitting something outside.
Take care of the animals outside.
I might go to town and get something from the store if I need it.
Make supper.
Watch a little TV.
Maybe play in bed.
Then go to sleep.
I will wake up on Sunday because nothing that huge will happen here.
Maybe seeing this church is based in California, that California will finally start falling into the ocean. One piece of sand a day till it disappears completely. Never to see the light of day again.
I wonder how long that would take? Something to ponder.
 

Maybe I'll just get a hat like this and start wearing it next Sunday.
Or maybe I should find a shirt that says something like.

WHAT I'M STILL HERE AFTER MAY 21 2011?
WHAT A BUMMER.

It does not pay to panic or worry about it.
I don't think anything will happen in just one day.
Things are changing all the time.
A bigger change is kind of happening right now.
It's a natural cycle the planet goes through all the time.
We just happen to here at this level of intelligence to experience it.
At least I think we are intelligent.
Some are, some aren't.
Oh well, we'll see what happens.

Jean Viken Cold Case

When I first started this blog one of the first things I wrote about was the murder of a local woman. She disappeared Jan 29th 2008 on one of the coldest days of that month. Her body was found I think in May of that year. She had been shot. Her van was found not long after she went missing up north. She was the mother of 4 young children and was going through a divorce at the time. Well here it is 2 years later and nothing has happened to try and find the person or persons responsible for her death. Why? I'm sure the whoever was responsible was really not that smart. Jean Viken update and other local things.

This past week Channel 7 has been doing stories on the cold case of Jean Viken.I did see one of them. In it the police said they know who did it but they are waiting for someone to come forward. But no matter what four young children will be without their mother for the rest of their lives because someone decided to end her life out of the meanness of their heart. Here is the story I found on the internet: Jean Viken's friends and family remember her as a loving mother of four young kids, a devoted daughter and sister. But nearly four years after her murder, a dark cloud hangs over Jean's memory, as they continue to search for answers. Pondering Japan's Earthquake

The earthquake in Japan is just another wake up call for us. It is so far the largest disaster we are dealing with right now. And with all those nuclear power plants having problems there, it will get a whole lot worse.  The earth is talking to us. Telling us the big change is upon us. Instead of fighting wars in other countries we should be preparing our people for this big change that will change our home, planet Earth, in a way that will make life allot more difficult to survive.  Japan had prepared for this kind of event to a point, but this kind of event to this degree is never fool proof.  My heart does go out to all those who are living through this right now.  I will give one prediction for the near future that some might say makes me sound like a crack pot but it is always a possibility.  Here it is: With all the things happening right now natural disasters and political unrest big changes are inevitable.
