Ponder Pages

Doesn't it seam strange that a big plane like that could just go missing? For no one to know what happened is so weird. They can trace a cell phone or a car with GPS, why can't they do it with a plane? And I thought we had so much technology we could do anything. I guess they fooled us, huh? Now the logical explanations are mechanical problems, human error or an act of terrorism. So seeing that they can't say it's one of these I've come up with my own explanations. The first one is the whole plane was taken by aliens. They needed some more people for their zoos. The second one is, they flew through a worm hole and are on a planet that really has things figured out and are a very Utopian world of peace. Or they are on a very hostel world were they have to hide from prehistoric creatures.Or they will turn up sometime in the future with a hell of tale to tell. The third one is, Hollywood is making a movie and didn't tell anyone they were makin...

I know it's been awhile since I wrote last. It's a little later in the day then I like to post but, I was having trouble getting on to the internet. I blame it all on too much snow. Here's proof. If you look back you will see the picture I took the first of February. Last time I took the picture the snow was knee deep. This time it was up to my butt. Enough snow already. I keep hearing from people that we are suppose to get another 30 to 60 inches of snow this month. If that's the case April's picture of this swing will show it completely buried. It just could be chest high. I hope the Farmers Almanac is very wrong.  I did complete two more projects. They were not from the book.   This is still another coaster set but it was from another book. Someone requested it so I made it. This is just a little magnet. I made it and gave it to a woman at work for her father. It's his favorite holiday. So I will have to wait until after St. Patrick...

I don't know about you but I'm suffering from cabin fever and I don't see it getting better any time soon. Will it ever end?  Me too! WE GIVE UP! Maybe if we all start thinking real hard about it being nice and warm and sunny it will all start to melt away. I'll start. Here's the sun. It's starting to work. It's getting there! Perfect!! I know I promised these awhile ago but I've been kind of busy procrastinating doing it. So there. Here they are.   This is the first one. Strawberries coasters! I've had this one done for awhile. It only took one weekend to get it done.   These are round metallic coasters with a castle holder. This one took awhile because of the cord. It can be a little tough pulling through the holes. I could have done it earlier but I was not in the mood to work on it after work at night before I went to bed. I am suffering from a bad case of cabin fever plus I have a slight cold. It is still too cold for me. Ever night has been below zero. With wind chills of close to 30 below.  I know out east they  having lots of snow and a lot of people have no power, so they have even worse cases of cabin fever. So I guess we are a nation of victims of Mother Natures bad mood.  But then again when I think about it, the whole world is being punished by...

I've decided to try and start something new. I want to start selecting certain days to take a picture of something and every year on that date take another picture of the same thing and post them to compare. I'm thinking what I might do is, as of right now, choose the first day of each month to take the picture of my swing. I chose this thing because I usually use it as an indicator of how much snow we do have. I go by if the seat is covered with snow. As you can see this year it is. Some years it's not. As I was walking out to take the picture, the snow was over my knees. I can't remember when the snow was that deep this time of year. Maybe last year because that was a long winter for us here but it didn't start as early as it did this season. I'm thinking it might be a good start for changes here at Ponder Pages. What do you think? I want to change what I ponder. Instead of venting about how idiotic people are, maybe I'll just start ponderi...

Hello one and all. Life for me is rather very dull at the moment. No real dramas in my life. But that's what happens when you have a hum drum kind of life. I do have one more project done. But I have not taken a picture of it yet maybe later. Plus I'm over half done with another one. Maybe I'll wait till I get the other one done, then post both of them. The rest of my life is not exciting either. I didn't work on Friday. It's that time of the year where we do get a little slower for awhile.  I'm tired of winter. It's been a very cold one so far. Tomorrow there is suppose to be a high of maybe 9 below zero. I think we are even colder then Alaska.  So I guess I'll talk about things in the news. How about Justin Bieber? Now I'm not into the brat or anything. I'm old enough to be his mother.  He is being a spoiled brat. From what I see at this point, he will only keep spinning out of control until he ends up just like Michael Jack...

Well for me this week has been kind of on the boring side. The only different thing I've done this week is start posting on my new blog. It's called, Dear Howard, A Fading History. It's based on the old letters, pictures, and scrap book that belonged to my Grandparents  http://dear-howard-a-fading-history.blogspot.com I thought instead of putting those things here I'd start a whole new place for them. It's still a work in progress as I'm still trying to decide what to all put on there for links and other things. So if you want you can check it out. As for the rest of my week. I'm tired of the snow. This the most snow we have had at this time year in a long time. The questions I've been pondering are, whether we will get all this snow now and have an early spring? Or is this the beginning of a very long winter season? Like we had last year. Last year the snow started a little later but hung around till May. Plus it was still cold in June last year...
