What a messy world we live in

 I decided to change the look of my blog. What do you think? Different. But I'll keep it for awhile, I think.

Any who, it's Friday and I have the day off. It has become slow once again at work. I use to be able to tell you how we would be working at what time of year, but no more. The economy is such a mess I don't know if I'll ever be able to say how good work is for a very long time. It makes things so much more scarier. Never knowing if things are secure or not. Not knowing if where you are working will always be there.
It's scary times we live in.

Not only is the economy a mess but you have the wars going on that should not be happening the way they are happening. People losing their lives for what? I guess I'll never understand why some wars happen. Unfortunately some are very necessary. Like the first and second world wars. But others happen in way that should never have. We all know which ones we feel they are.
   
The oil disaster in the gulf. This one thing alone is going to make things allot harder for everyone. Not to mention the blame game that will be going on for many years to come. My heart goes out to all those that have to see the results of big business gone bad, up close and personal for longer then they should.

Is it my imagination or are people not using their brains anymore? They seam to be ruled by greed or selfishness. They only think about what they want and don't care who they hurt in the long run. Even if they hurt their own family members.
I have seen a number people go through things that could have been avoided. I have seen people start out with something very good, almost to good for them, and they seem like they do their best to mess it up anyway they can. Then blame the other person. Or there are those who think they can change someone. News flash!!! NEVER GONNA TO HAPPEN!!!!!! But they try anyway. Making a bigger mess of their lives then is necessary.  I know, I know, this has been happening since the beginning of time.But it seams to almost be the way of life for more and more these days. They feel it's normal to work for a messy life. Emotionally I mean.

Jean Viken Cold Case

When I first started this blog one of the first things I wrote about was the murder of a local woman. She disappeared Jan 29th 2008 on one of the coldest days of that month. Her body was found I think in May of that year. She had been shot. Her van was found not long after she went missing up north. Well here it is 2 years later and nothing has happened to try and find the person or persons responsible for her death. Why? I'm sure the whoever was responsible was really not that smart. Jean Viken update and other local things.

This past week Channel 7 has been doing stories on the cold case of Jean Viken.I did see one of them. In it the police said they know who did it but they are waiting for someone to come forward. But no matter what four young children will be without their mother for the rest of their lives because someone decided to end her life out of the meanness of their heart. Here is the story I found on the internet: Jean Viken's friends and family remember her as a loving mother of four young kids, a devoted daughter and sister. But nearly four years after her murder, a dark cloud hangs over Jean's memory, as they continue to search for answers. "We were having a birthday party for her because all of her friends would have wanted to get together like we would have done if she was here," Jane Hempel said. Pondering Japan's Earthquake

The earthquake in Japan is just another wake up call for us. It is so far the largest disaster we are dealing with right now. And with all those nuclear power plants having problems there, it will get a whole lot worse.  The earth is talking to us. Telling us the big change is upon us. Instead of fighting wars in other countries we should be preparing our people for this big change that will change our home, planet Earth, in a way that will make life allot more difficult to survive.  Japan had prepared for this kind of event to a point, but this kind of event to this degree is never fool proof.  My heart does go out to all those who are living through this right now.  I will give one prediction for the near future that some might say makes me sound like a crack pot but it is always a possibility.  Here it is: With all the things happening right now natural disasters and political unrest big changes are inevitable.
