Well Christmas is over. I hope everyone enjoyed their time with family and friends. Mine I guess you can say was uneventful. At least nothing earth shattering happened.  Like allot of the country we had a white Christmas. This is the whitest Christmas we have had in a long time. This picture was actually taken the day before Christmas. On Christmas it snowed lightly all day so there is even more snow piled up.  Anyway now that 2013 is almost over, finally. It's time to start pondering the future of 2014. What will this year hold for the world? What will it hold for me? What kind of new dramas will be exposed?(As if we didn't have enough in the last one).  The world is run by drama. Some is bad like losing lots of money, dealing with drama queens, con artists, politicians, control freaks, people that are able to really work but would rather find away to get something for no real effort on their part or someone being very selfish and blaming others for their...

How did we get to this point that this is an excuse for doing something really bad and it's excepted? But that's exactly what happened to this person. I can't really call him a kid and he is not an adult. He, in my book, is a very spoiled person. With parents who are using everything they can to get him out of murder. They seem to be proud of their rank among us.  But it's the one thing that keeps the wedge between the haves and the very hard working people of the world. And it is only getting worse.  The ones with lots of money are doing all they can to make sure the ones who have very little stay that way. Plus they like to rub it in the average persons face from time to time. With the mega Millions jackpot over a half a billion for tonight it will create another one or more to join the club. Well I have another project done. It's another coaster set.  Well it will be awhile before I can post any new projects. Why you ask? I'll tell you why. I've got to make three of the fish coaster sets. You know I made it before I decided to start the task of doing everything in the book you see on the side. That's what happens when I take pictures of something I make and others think they are very nice and want one for themselves. So before I continue with the next one in the book I have to finish the ones that have been ordered. In case you don't remember the fish here is a picture of what it looks like. One of the sets might take a little longer because she wants the fish to look like walleyes. It will take a while to get it just right. I'll take a picture of it when I get that one finished. I now have two more projects done. This is the first one I did. It's a coaster set. It took a while to do this one. Putting it together, the coasters are two sided. So it was like doing 10 instead of 5. Plus putting together the barn.  This is the last one I've done. It's another coaster set. This one was very simple to do. I had it done in a couple of days. I only work on some of these things a couple of hours a day, when I get time and or I'm not to tired from all the other things I do everyday.  Well as for other things around here, it's been on the quite side except for the husband tearing a tendon by his knee and is now wearing a brace. With it being hunting season around here do you think it stopped him from hunting? No. Here is proof. He got it on the last day of gun season at the last possible moment. Here is one of the old letters I keep talking about. It's a little hard to read. But I'll try to rewrite it so it's a little bit more understandable.  Dear Howard, I received you letter and was glad to hear from you. My arm is better now. I can write now. I sure am glad you said that you wish that you were here but I still think that Wis is better boy do I wish that I was out there. The weather is terrible cold out here. Gee do I wish that was was going hunting with you too. I wonder if you can send a deer head to me and I would pay for it. I sure would like to have one. The past couple of weeks or so allot of channels have been having stories about the assassination of JFK.    Everything Kennedy was out there. Including the release of the Kennedy cousin this week, who just happened to be release from prison after serving 10 years for a murder that happened 30 years ago. But for which he was not charged with until  20 years after it happened. Will he be retried? In my opinion, nope. Why do I say this? Because money talked to the right people at the right time. Just another idea I thought I'd throw out there with all the other ones floating around. The more conspiracy theories the better, right? Or what  about the possibility that Charles Manson could be engaged to this woman?    Why or how could anyone become so involved with someone like him? It's early in the morning and once again I've been snored out of bed. After looking around at things on the computer I thought I'd look at the local paper. In our local paper, The Star News, there is a section called The Time Machine. In this regular column they have news from the past. Things from 10 years ago, 25 years ago, 50 years, 75 years and 100 years ago. I get a kick out of things that made the news 100 years ago. Like the one this week.  Could you imagine trying to do this kind of justice in today's world?  I find it very interesting how justice was dealt with in my grandfather's time. Like in one of the old letters written to my grandfather in I think 1919.(I'll post it sometime in the future so you can read it for yourself) In this letter the girl describes a crime in Chicago where a man killed a young girl and hid her body in a coal pile.
