Two local tragedies

The first tragedies I'm thinking of happened on Sunday.
The movie theater in Abbostford burned. It was a historic building in down town Abbostford. The saddest part is a firefighter was killed when the roof fell in from the weight of the snow on the roof from last weeks snow storm.
His name was Jamison N. Kampmeyer. He was 34 years old. He was a volunteer firefighter for Colby plus a Sheriff deputy for Marathon County. He was an instructor at NTC. Plus a member of the S.W.A.T. team.
He was married with three children, the youngest being only 4 months old.
As of right now the cause of the fire is not yet known.

This UW Stevens Point student, Eric Duffy,  was reported missing Saturday Morning after he had been out celebrating his 21st birthday. He had left the bar alone to go back to where he was living. The sad part is they found his body Monday in the Wisconsin River.
He was originally from Fitchburg.
I wish that when people are out drinking like that, they would somehow  find a way to go home in pairs. Especially when there is any water between where they are and home. Almost every time there is drinking involved and a missing person who is walking they always seam to find the body in the water somewhere.

My heart goes out to all the families of both of these young people. You are in many peoples prayers.
