Pondering the Tornado's

Image
Watching the news lately and seeing all the destruction from the tornadoes is almost unbelievable. Such heart break. We in Wisconsin have not been without our damage too. This is a picture from the one that struck Merrill WI about a week before Easter. No one was killed but it is bad enough. The husband and I  were over in this area the day before it happened to an auction. That day was so cold I brought two different coats with me and my winter boots if my feet got cold, which they did. The next day was almost like getting thrown straight from winter into summer. The weather has been so strange around here I'm never sure what season it is anymore. Anyway, we had warning that this could happen, sever weather I mean. When the bad stuff started rolling in for some reason the wind here was calm, almost too calm. We got rain and hail about the size of a quarter. But then a few mile to east it was windy and Merrill is about 30 some miles east of here. So I guess you can say we are

It's Easter time! Hoppy Easter Everyone!

Pondering.............

Was going to post something  yesterday like I've been doing but I got up a little later then I usually do, just after six. Not I real big deal. Well then the husband for some reason got up too. So there went my quiet time when I write. So seeing I'm a lone right now I'm going to write something. The only problem what. I wrote a number of ideas down yesterday. So I'll make a few comments on the things I wrote down. Idea number 1) Idiocracy: If you have not seen this movie I recommend you see it. You don't have to watch the whole thing if you don't want just watch the beginning. The part where they show how the world is getting dumber. It's is happening right now. Idea number 2)  Weather While places south  and east of here are getting blown away, us up here in Wisconsin are getting more snow. I'm so over winter. Idea number 3) Air traffic controllers I have a solution  that would work. Just have set shift people. Just like where I work.

Pondering Politics

Image
I was trying to find something to ponder and because it has been in the news so much lately I decided to ponder politics. First let me admit I don't know that much about how it works but I've seen the results of it my whole life. And like most other people suffered because of it. Let me say in my opinion all political things are broken beyond repair. So right now it does not matter what they try to do to satisfy certain people it will never create peace or acceptability among the rest of us. The certain people they seam to satisfy are usually their friends, their class of people and other dirty rotten under the table dealing people. A little harsh? Maybe. Take this latest threat of almost shutting down the government. The husband said it was like they were playing chicken. Trying to see who would step aside first.  Which is true, in away. I would like to make a suggestion for next time this happens. Instead of threatening not to pay military people and shutting dow

Pondering Childhood

Image
I've been thinking  about childhood lately. It seams like the world wants kids to become adults almost as soon as they start loosing their teeth. The one place that's selling bikini tops at first aimed at little girls as young as five, they have now since changed the wording. They are padded to give an illusion of having a chest. I ask why do they want to push the more grown up image on to them at such a young age? Childhood is suppose to be playing games, making friends, using your imagination and learning about some things slowly ,very slowly. Childhood is suppose to be the innocent time of their lives. But to me it looks like they want children, especially little girls it seams like, to be as grown up as fast as possible. Make them look as sexy as possible as soon as possible. I just don't get it. I have two girls myself, who are now in their twenties, and one thing I didn't want them to deal with is worrying about how their bodies looked. I just told them th
