Ponder Pages

I don't know about you but I'm suffering from cabin fever and I don't see it getting better any time soon. Will it ever end?  Me too! WE GIVE UP! Maybe if we all start thinking real hard about it being nice and warm and sunny it will all start to melt away. I'll start. Here's the sun. It's starting to work. It's getting there! Perfect!! Now I feel so much better. Darn! It didn't work for long. Till next time. Keep on pondering the pondering possibilities.

I know I promised these awhile ago but I've been kind of busy procrastinating doing it. So there. Here they are.   This is the first one. Strawberries coasters! I've had this one done for awhile. It only took one weekend to get it done.   These are round metallic coasters with a castle holder. This one took awhile because of the cord. It can be a little tough pulling through the holes. I could have done it earlier but I was not in the mood to work on it after work at night before I went to bed. I am suffering from a bad case of cabin fever plus I have a slight cold. It is still too cold for me. Ever night has been below zero. With wind chills of close to 30 below.  I know out east they  having lots of snow and a lot of people have no power, so they have even worse cases of cabin fever. So I guess we are a nation of victims of Mother Natures bad mood.  But then again when I think about it, the whole world is being punished by...

I didn't forget to write something last weekend, I just have not been in the mood to write lately.  Life for me has been as humdrum as ever. One reason is that winter will not go a way around here. It's still white outside and just won't stop. Sure it does melt but then it will snow again making a bigger mess.  I thought spring had sprung when I saw robins.   But the poor things have been snowed on at least twice since I took this picture. There is a saying that robins will get snowed on at least three times before the snow will go away. Looking at the forecast it just might be a few more times before it stops coming down in snow form. In the mean time I think we are all suffering from cabin fever in Wisconsin. The husband is. I know it's not Whining Wednesday but I have a sore throat and I think I'm starting to suffer from cabin fever. I was just watching the TV and they were running a winter storm watch for here until 6pm Thursday. I know I did want an old fashion winter, but I think I've had enough. I want to see green leaves and green grass. I'm tired of white. I wear white for eight hours at work with white walls and stainless steal machines. A guy at work was showing pictures he had taken of his wife standing next to a drift in his yard. It was over her head. People who snowmobile are happy this year. I want to able to go outside and just take a nice long walk down the road or ride one of my horses . In truth when the snow does go away, it will very muddy and a nice walk will out of the question that much longer. I do live on a dirt road. They were thinking of paving it but there are a few people who have houses to close to the road. The road would have to widen to be able to pave it. N...
