Ponder Pages

I have a few things I want to ponder this weekend. Like that ferry that sank by South Korea. What a tragic thing to happen. All those young people lost. Boy does that captain have an awful lot of explaining to do. And to be one of the only ones to get on the only  life boat used, that does not look good for him. If he was not at the helm and left a lower ranked person there, what was his reason. Was he doing something he was not suppose to do? Or (here is where I get weird) was a plan from North Korea to do this? Attacking the South without looking like they were involved and just using the captain as a pawn in their nasty plan. Boy that sounds like it could have come from a movie.  If I had been on that boat I would have found a way to lead people off of it asp and no one would have been able to stop me. Lately things seam like they are getting more and more unstable. Not to say things were even stable to begin with. Like Putin.   For some reason this guy is being like totally cagey. At least that's one way to put it. The way I see it is he wants to bring the Soviet Union back together again, just like it was when he was younger. If he has to start WWIII so be it. I'm so glad I'm not a politician. What a mess to have to deal with. They have to complicate things so much because they always want to be top dog. I just wonder what his next move will be. If could talk to him I'd ask him if he really thinks things would be better. The way the world economies are right now it don't matter what anyone does it can't be fixed or improved. Remember the more you have to take care of the bigger the head aches. Big government means having to take care of a lot more lazy bums. Smaller is better. The bigger you get the more epic the fail. I finally finished my latest project. It's another coaster set. Now it needs a home. I know I've been slacking on pondering. I have no good excuse that is except able. Maybe it's that I'm still suffering from a bad case of cabin fever. The calender tells me it's spring. The song birds returning,tells me it's spring. But all the snow on the ground tells me something different. And today, right now. It's snowing, again..Groan, groan, groan. But here is one way I help the song birds when they return and there is all this snow on the ground. Here a couple of pictures I took a little while ago of Robin's eating some apples on the apple tree. I leave apples on the tree in the fall because I know when the summer birds come back there will be snow on the ground. They will need something to eat besides seeds people put out for them. I know it's been awhile since I wrote. I really have no good excuse. But with it being the first of the month it's time to share the picture of the swing. As you can see the snow is not as deep. The swing can swing freely. Walking out to take the picture the snow was half way up to the knee. It's a lot better then last month, which was butt deep.  Here is the picture from the first of March.  Just to refresh your memory how about the first picture I took on February 1.  The snow was knee deep when I took this picture.  I'm hoping that May first you will see no snow at all. But it's not looking good. There is a rumor that this Friday we could get a foot of snow. I hope it's just someone's ideas of an April Fools Day joke. As for things to ponder, I can't think of anything new to ponder. I'm still working on the next project. It  should be finished soon. I'm in a bad procrastination mode. Doesn't it seam strange that a big plane like that could just go missing? For no one to know what happened is so weird. They can trace a cell phone or a car with GPS, why can't they do it with a plane? And I thought we had so much technology we could do anything. I guess they fooled us, huh? Now the logical explanations are mechanical problems, human error or an act of terrorism. So seeing that they can't say it's one of these I've come up with my own explanations. The first one is the whole plane was taken by aliens. They needed some more people for their zoos. The second one is, they flew through a worm hole and are on a planet that really has things figured out and are a very Utopian world of peace. Or they are on a very hostel world were they have to hide from prehistoric creatures.Or they will turn up sometime in the future with a hell of tale to tell. The third one is, Hollywood is making a movie and didn't tell anyone they were makin...

I know it's been awhile since I wrote last. It's a little later in the day then I like to post but, I was having trouble getting on to the internet. I blame it all on too much snow. Here's proof. If you look back you will see the picture I took the first of February. Last time I took the picture the snow was knee deep. This time it was up to my butt. Enough snow already. I keep hearing from people that we are suppose to get another 30 to 60 inches of snow this month. If that's the case April's picture of this swing will show it completely buried. It just could be chest high. I hope the Farmers Almanac is very wrong.  I did complete two more projects. They were not from the book.   This is still another coaster set but it was from another book. Someone requested it so I made it. This is just a little magnet. I made it and gave it to a woman at work for her father. It's his favorite holiday. So I will have to wait until after St. Patrick...

I don't know about you but I'm suffering from cabin fever and I don't see it getting better any time soon. Will it ever end?  Me too! WE GIVE UP! Maybe if we all start thinking real hard about it being nice and warm and sunny it will all start to melt away. I'll start. Here's the sun. It's starting to work. It's getting there! Perfect!!
