Packer Soap Opera

As a packer fan I say enough is enough! Last night I was going to watch the local news and what comes on instead? A news conference about the future of Brett Farve as a Packer. In my opinion the same question was being asked over and over again for over a half hour. Why did two local stations feel they had to show this farce? I don't know what has really gone on behind the scenes at Green Bay but someone better stop this nonsense. If Brett wants to move on let him go or if he wants to play for the Pack as a starter why not?
I can kind of see the team might already have things planned out without him and want to work with this plan. Then say so. Let Brett go. This stupidity is only making some fans want to turn away from the team. It would be weird seeing Brett play for another team but people will get use to it. They get use to other players doing the same thing. A team is more then one player.
The bad feelings that are already there will only get worse the longer this is dragged out. They all now this.
Is all of this some kind of publicity stunt? Is someone trying to profit from this mess or create disharmony on the team to the point they can't play together and couldn't win a game to save their lives. Maybe someone wants to laugh at the Packers while they are at their lowest point.
If I could give the local TV stations some advice, it would be keep the sports news on the sports and just show the high lights or run a ticker along the bottom of the screen.

Jean Viken Cold Case

When I first started this blog one of the first things I wrote about was the murder of a local woman. She disappeared Jan 29th 2008 on one of the coldest days of that month. Her body was found I think in May of that year. She had been shot. Her van was found not long after she went missing up north. Jean Viken update and other local things.

This past week Channel 7 has been doing stories on the cold case of Jean Viken.I did see one of them. In it the police said they know who did it but they are waiting for someone to come forward. But no matter what four young children will be without their mother for the rest of their lives because someone decided to end her life out of the meanness of their heart. Pondering Japan's Earthquake

The earthquake in Japan is just another wake up call for us. It is so far the largest disaster we are dealing with right now. And with all those nuclear power plants having problems there, it will get a whole lot worse.  The earth is talking to us. Telling us the big change is upon us.
