Pondering Graffiti

Image
I think it's time I stopped thinking about politics. Whatever is going to happen is going to happen. I was sitting here trying to figure out what to ponder. I went to a random image generator and started looking through some pictures. I saw a picture of a couple of people doing graffiti on a wall. Kind of like this:   So this got me to thinking about it. I come from a small town. I don't see a lot of graffiti. But I always admire what I see. There is so much talent out there that will never be able to really be recognized.  Traveling down a road next to a railroad tracks and I see a train with a number of different cars with what I guess is considered gang markings, I always have a thought about what those people who did these kinds of things could really create besides gang markings.  I wish I could draw like that.  Wouldn't it be interesting if people who were caught doing those kind of things were instead given an opportunity to create something ...

Pondering impeachment

Hi all! Well another week gone. How was yours? Mine, was nice and quiet. I no longer have the mother-in-laws dogs. So no more fear of stepping in something in the morning. No more having to let someone out every time I turned around. Don't get me wrong, I do like dogs. But right now is not right for us to have them. Besides, I'm more of a medium size dog person. But the granddaughter is allergic to dogs right now. So if I want her to come and visit, no dogs for now. Anyway, the rest of my week was very quiet. The weather is colder then I like. I would comment on the lack of snow around here but I don't someone to prove me wrong. (Mother Nature) They have been getting snow to the south of us. Even states that don't usually see it much are getting more then us.  I did work on a Saturday. Which was fine. But it makes for a very short weekend. That and the time change. I get up way to early during the week and my body doesn't know the difference. Or I should say...

Just Pondering again

Image
Hello. I know it's been a little longer then I promised but life things keep getting in the way.  I still have the mother-in-laws dogs. We are adjusting but we still have to find a different home for them. But first in the family then if agreed upon somewhere else. The reason why is my granddaughter has an allergy to dogs. So if I want her to come visit or even spend the night we have to find a different place for them. The husband has been off because of surgery on his ankle but he will be going back tomorrow. So I will have most of my nights to myself again.  Once these two things happen I might get back to my normal. Those are the two main things happening in my life. Now on to pondering: Well the usual things have been front and center. President Dweeb has been trying to do things to top what other presidents have done. You know the killing of that one guy. He blow himself up when he was cornered. The sad part is he took two innocent children with him. ...

Pondering Government and the weather.

Image
Hey all! How was your week? Mine was quiet I guess. it looks like we will have the mother-in-laws little dogs for a longer time then we thought at first. There is still a huge mess to clean up with her finances. But that is for her children to deal with not me. I just sit on the sidelines and support the best that I can emotionally.  One thing that happened the other day when I was at work. The husband let the dogs out to do their business and Lucky just kept barking. First the husband thought there was deer out there. But there was no deer. He looked around trying to find what he could be barking at. He noticed what looked like a big cat in some tall grass. it was a cat alright. A Bobcat. He got the gun and shot up in the air to scare it away. So now we have to extra watchful when we let the dogs out. You never know when something else just might try to get  them. There is also a pack of coyotes in the neighborhood also. So far my turkeys are safe. We are building them ...

Pondering things in my life and the world

Image
Well, it's been an interesting time lately.  My life has gotten a little bit more challenging. Last weekend the mother-in-law had a stroke. The in-law family and the husband are going through a very challenging time. We for some reason have ended up with two of her dogs. The mother-in-law is still in the hospital. They are not sure if she will ever be able to back to her home. So I wonder how long I will have to take care of two of her dogs.  Here a couple of pictures of them.  This one is Little foot. But also called Little Man. He is old. We have to keep a close eye on him or he will poo and pee anywhere in the house. He is also an escape artist. But I think we have that problem solved. At least I hope so.  This is Luck. He can be a wiggle worm but at least he doesn't go in the house.  I'm not sure if this is a permanent thing or not. Or if someone else in the family wants them. There is another dog. Called Whitey. But only a couple of...

Pondering the President and the weather

Image
I keep telling myself I will not watch the news. But lately it's almost like watching a train that is  about to crash. You know what is going to happen but you just can't look away. I know I shouldn't be focusing on any of it. But from time to time I just want to tell people, "I told you this was going to happen. But did you listen to me? NOO!!" I know I didn't know exactly what was going to happen but I knew something was going to go terribly  wrong for President Dweeb. The mob boss in him was finally exposed.  The truth will always come out.  The harder you try to get people to focus on others the harder it comes back to hit you square in the face.  Bullies always get their just dessert. A grown man who has the need to call other people childish names is an insecure child himself.  I was thinking the other day about the way he talks. Suddenly I knew who he reminded me of.   The character that Bill Murray played in Caddyshack....

Global Climate Strikes?

Image
I'm not sure what Global Climate Strikes are.  What don't you do?  How do you strike to really make a difference? Who's idea was this? Who do you think can make the kind of changes you think will happen over night? Well guess what, this planet is a while lot bigger then us. You have to understand this planet is a living thing that has been through things we do not know about. It goes through cycles. It is ever changing all by itself. Granted the human race is doing more damage to it then we should. We might be speeding up one of it's cycles but we can't change what it happening by protesting.  It's kind of like trying to stop a huge rock from rolling down a mountain with a feather. I know you want to know what I think can be done.  Well it is a very complicated subject. I can't tell anyone what to do.  Sometimes I want to say we just have to roll with the punches that Mother Nature throws at us. We can change somethings in our live...
