Global Climate Strikes?

I'm not sure what Global Climate Strikes are. 
What don't you do? 
How do you strike to really make a difference?
Who's idea was this?
Who do you think can make the kind of changes you think will happen over night?

Well guess what, this planet is a while lot bigger then us. You have to understand this planet is a living thing that has been through things we do not know about. It goes through cycles. It is ever changing all by itself. Granted the human race is doing more damage to it then we should. We might be speeding up one of it's cycles but we can't change what it happening by protesting. 
It's kind of like trying to stop a huge rock from rolling down a mountain with a feather.
I know you want to know what I think can be done.
 Well it is a very complicated subject.
I can't tell anyone what to do. 
Sometimes I want to say we just have to roll with the punches that Mother Nature throws at us.
We can change somethings in our lives to help us adjust to the things that are happening. But if only a few people do this it will not make a bit of difference.
If people were really serious about wanting things to change they would have to give up so many things they enjoy right now. Can you?
The world has got to admit there are too many humans for this little world to support. But how should we control that number? We are obsessed with sex and multiplying. The more the merrier. Be fruitful and multiply. I say to what point? For being the supposed intelligent beings on this planet, we are pretty dumb.  
One thing we could change would be big business, they really run the wold. 
The kind of change people are demanding would take centuries to undo. But when you think about it, it only took us a century to get to this point. 
If we started right now, the whole world, to really make changes they won't be felt for decades, if not centuries. So in other words, not for a number of generations will the difference be felt.
If you don't get the whole world on board all the protesting in the world will be nothing but a waste of time and money. Only making the ones really behind this richer. 
I know this sounded confusing. But I never really said I had an answer to the changes the planet is showing us right now.
Global Climate Strikes will help as much as this post does.
The changes the human race would have to make will never be done on a global scale.
Maybe it's a matter of really understanding the signs Mother Nature is giving us. We have to adjust to her, not the other way around.
 
Well that's all have to ponder today.
Just remember, to keep on pondering the pondering possibilities.

Jean Viken Cold Case

When I first started this blog one of the first things I wrote about was the murder of a local woman. She disappeared Jan 29th 2008 on one of the coldest days of that month. Her body was found I think in May of that year. She had been shot. Her van was found not long after she went missing up north. She was the mother of 4 young children and was going through a divorce at the time. Well here it is 2 years later and nothing has happened to try and find the person or persons responsible for her death. Why? I'm sure the whoever was responsible was really not that smart. Jean Viken update and other local things.

This past week Channel 7 has been doing stories on the cold case of Jean Viken.I did see one of them. In it the police said they know who did it but they are waiting for someone to come forward. But no matter what four young children will be without their mother for the rest of their lives because someone decided to end her life out of the meanness of their heart. Here is the story I found on the internet: Jean Viken's friends and family remember her as a loving mother of four young kids, a devoted daughter and sister. But nearly four years after her murder, a dark cloud hangs over Jean's memory, as they continue to search for answers. Pondering Japan's Earthquake

The earthquake in Japan is just another wake up call for us. It is so far the largest disaster we are dealing with right now. And with all those nuclear power plants having problems there, it will get a whole lot worse.  The earth is talking to us. Telling us the big change is upon us.
