Ponder Pages

I know I promised to post yesterday but I swear I have a good excuse. Let me explain. First off, I got up a little later then I thought I would.  Second, the husband got up right after I did. Well not long after. Just about the time I was planning to post here. I don't write well when he is hovering around. I do not focus well. The rest of the day I was busy. I went to a birthday party for my nieces little boy who just turned one. That was an afternoon thing. At night I went to a ceremony that recognized different people and businesses in the community for different things. I went because my dad got the Lifetime Achievement award.  Now if your wondering what he has done, I will say what hasn't he done. He was a volunteer fireman for many years. He still hangs around there helping with different things and going to the meetings. He is an EMT. He has been on the church council and is still very active in the church. He was on the board of a local credit...

I know it's been a whole month, again. It's kind of late in the day but I will first show you the swing. It looks darker because I painted it. Believe me it looks so much better in the backyard. I also did a project I would like to show you. And completed one that was not all the way done last time. It's just something that is just to be hung up somewhere. It has a new home, thanks to needing gifts for a bridle shower.  This is a doorstop/ I didn't have the grass and eggs in it the last time I showed you. I also has a new home. I was going to ponder a few things but I think what I'm going to do is this. Tomorrow morning I will try to get up early and do another post pondering some of the things that have been going on lately. You know the riots, and some of the local happenings. So if you can hold on till tomorrow I will try to give you something to ponder. So till tomorrow, Keep on pondering the pondering possibilities.

Hello all!  I'm still here somewhere. First thing I'll show you is the picture of the swing I just took. No snow! yeah! It is also about 60 degrees right now. But it's suppose to be around the forties by Friday, again. Now last year at this time was a different story. Here's proof. I think I like this year's picture over last year. This winter had been a very mild one. I just wonder what kind of summer we will have. A wet cool one or a dry hot one. Last year was wet and cool.  I want one that is just right. Somewhere in the middle. Not to hot but not to cold. Not to wet but not to dry.  If only it was that simple to get the perfect weather whenever you wanted it. Oh well. We will just have to wait and see. I did finish one more project. Want to see?  It's about 31 inches long. You can hang it anywhere you want to greet your friends. I'm working on an other thing right now but it will be awhile before it's done. Hop...

It's the first of the month again and time to show you the picture of the swing from this year. And here is the picture from last year. We did have more snow last year compared to this year. It's still cold  like it was last year. So I guess you can say march came in like a lion this year because we were getting snow flurries this morning. Not like they have been having south and east of here. Which I'm glad. In February it did not get above freezing the whole month. No thirties. Some twenties and more below zero temps then I like to see.  Two years in a row with the snow still covered with snow at this time of year is kind of depressing. I have plans once again of things I want to get done outside. I just hope I can and that the weather will be better then it was last year.   Enough of that, I did manage to get two more projects done. Here they are. Something that can be hung on a door. Well it's been over a year since I started recording pictures of my swing. Here is the picture of the swing on the first of February. Here is a picture of the swing last year. Last year at this time we had a lot more snow, as you can see. South of here a hundred miles or so it is snowing. South and East they are getting hit by a big storm. It may not be snowing here but it is cold and windy. This is the time of year it is easier to tell the differences in the years. I might also over time do somethings around the swing to help tell the different years. I have also completed a couple of projects. Here they are. This little guy is suppose to hang on a door knob. The husband said I could put magnets on it and put it on the fridge.  As you can see they are scarecrows and crows on a kind of wooden wreath. It's the beginning of a new year. The last one, as usual had more challenges for the world then we saw coming. I'm sure this next one will be more of the same. I don't make resolutions. I may have tried somethings last year but I didn't keep too many of them. Making changes in your life can be done at anytime.  One thing I am sticking to is taking a picture of my swing the first of every month. I started this in February of last year. So this next picture is the first for January.   As I was taking this picture it was lightly snowing. The temp was about 12 above zero. This weekend it's suppose to get below zero for awhile, again. Next month you will be able to see the differences between last February and this one. That is one thing I will try to keep up with. Showing you the difference of the beginning of every month from year to year. Over time you might see differences I might want to do some changes around the swing from time to time too.    One ...

I wasn't going to post anything right now but, I changed my mind. So sue me. It's early morning, almost 6 am. The husband snored me out of bed, again. When he does that on the weekends I usually check my computer things while it's quiet.  This morning while going through things I had time and a few thoughts to get off my chest. What kind of things you ask? Well there has been a lot of things going on in the world that are really sad to be happening at what is suppose to be the happiest time of the year. Seeing I got time I will put my two cents worth in. The thing going on with Sony and being hacked by someone. The finger is being pointed at North Korea. I'm not sure how I feel about the movie "The Interview" being pulled from being shown to the public. I will say it's only a movie, so chill out. I did not plan on seeing it because it did not appeal to me.  In my opinion when they made the movie they could have made up a country and nam...
