Two more projects completed and a hunting picture

I now have two more projects done.




This is the first one I did. It's a coaster set. It took a while to do this one. Putting it together, the coasters are two sided. So it was like doing 10 instead of 5. Plus putting together the barn. 

This is the last one I've done.


It's another coaster set. This one was very simple to do. I had it done in a couple of days. I only work on some of these things a couple of hours a day, when I get time and or I'm not to tired from all the other things I do everyday. 

Well as for other things around here, it's been on the quite side except for the husband tearing a tendon by his knee and is now wearing a brace. With it being hunting season around here do you think it stopped him from hunting?
No. Here is proof.

He got it on the last day of gun season at the last possible moment. Our freezer will be full this winter. 
Well right now it's snowing so I guess winter is here to stay. We will definitely have a white Christmas this year.

When I first started this blog one of the first things I wrote about was the murder of a local woman. She disappeared Jan 29th 2008 on one of the coldest days of that month. Her body was found I think in May of that year. She had been shot. Her van was found not long after she went missing up north. She was the mother of 4 young children and was going through a divorce at the time. Well here it is 2 years later and nothing has happened to try and find the person or persons responsible for her death. Why? I'm sure the whoever was responsible was really not that smart. Jean Viken update and other local things.

This past week Channel 7 has been doing stories on the cold case of Jean Viken.I did see one of them. In it the police said they know who did it but they are waiting for someone to come forward. But no matter what four young children will be without their mother for the rest of their lives because someone decided to end her life out of the meanness of their heart. Here is the story I found on the internet: Jean Viken's friends and family remember her as a loving mother of four young kids, a devoted daughter and sister. But nearly four years after her murder, a dark cloud hangs over Jean's memory, as they continue to search for answers. Pondering Japan's Earthquake

The earthquake in Japan is just another wake up call for us. It is so far the largest disaster we are dealing with right now. And with all those nuclear power plants having problems there, it will get a whole lot worse.  The earth is talking to us. Telling us the big change is upon us. Instead of fighting wars in other countries we should be preparing our people for this big change that will change our home, planet Earth, in a way that will make life allot more difficult to survive.  Japan had prepared for this kind of event to a point, but this kind of event to this degree is never fool proof.  My heart does go out to all those who are living through this right now.  I will give one prediction for the near future that some might say makes me sound like a crack pot but it is always a possibility.  Here it is: With all the things happening right now natural disasters and political unrest big changes are inevitable.
