HELLO 2012

The beginning of a new year.
I just wonder what kind of surprises it has in store for me and the world.
I'm really looking forward to it.
But I know there will be a few bumps along the way.
And a number of annoying things.

Like putting up with the mud fights the politicians will be having. Don't you wish they could stop picking on each other and prove exactly how they can do the right things for the country.

Another annoying thing is the constant whining of people who just want someone else to take care of their problems. Like my Dad always told me growing up: "You got yourself into the mess you get yourself out."

And you know that Mother nature will continue to be a whole lot more active in her destruction then we like to see. My youngest one says that she thinks Mother Nature is by-polar. I say she is going through the change, like me.

No matter what happens this year I'm going to continue to be a more a positive person to those around me. Look at things and try to see the truth in it. I will continue to make corny jokes. I like to put a smile on someone face at least for a couple of minutes.
I try to be more positive.One of my saying is: "Positive energy can bring about positive results, eventually. Just have patients."

 Well that's my first post for 2012.

Jean Viken Cold Case

When I first started this blog one of the first things I wrote about was the murder of a local woman. She disappeared Jan 29th 2008 on one of the coldest days of that month. Her body was found I think in May of that year. She had been shot. Her van was found not long after she went missing up north. She was the mother of 4 young children and was going through a divorce at the time. Well here it is 2 years later and nothing has happened to try and find the person or persons responsible for her death. Why? I'm sure the whoever was responsible was really not that smart. It's as if the no one wants to get to the bottom of what really happened to her. Maybe she was not important enough. Maybe she was not connected to the right people.  I wonder what it would take to get more exposure to this cold case. Jean Viken update and other local things.

This past week Channel 7 has been doing stories on the cold case of Jean Viken.I did see one of them. In it the police said they know who did it but they are waiting for someone to come forward. But no matter what four young children will be without their mother for the rest of their lives because someone decided to end her life out of the meanness of their heart. Here is the story I found on the internet: Jean Viken's friends and family remember her as a loving mother of four young kids, a devoted daughter and sister. But nearly four years after her murder, a dark cloud hangs over Jean's memory, as they continue to search for answers. "We were having a birthday party for her because all of her friends would have wanted to get together like we would have done if she was here," Jane Hempel said. Pondering Japan's Earthquake

The earthquake in Japan is just another wake up call for us. It is so far the largest disaster we are dealing with right now. And with all those nuclear power plants having problems there, it will get a whole lot worse.  The earth is talking to us. Telling us the big change is upon us. Instead of fighting wars in other countries we should be preparing our people for this big change that will change our home, planet Earth, in a way that will make life allot more difficult to survive.  Japan had prepared for this kind of event to a point, but this kind of event to this degree is never fool proof.  My heart does go out to all those who are living through this right now.  I will give one prediction for the near future that some might say makes me sound like a crack pot but it is always a possibility.  Here it is: With all the things happening right now natural disasters and political unrest big changes are inevitable.
