Pondering What you would like to do?
When I saw this question and I thought it was a good one to ask people.
So for about a week I was asking people this question. Some people really had to think about it while others took no time at all.
Some of the ones who took a little bit of time thinking said they would like to travel somewhere. Some had a destination. Like, Cancun, Hawaii, taking his kids to places he has seen, Norway( because his family was from there), to go to Germany and visit WWII museums,to just travel the world safely , to just take his wife a nice vacation. One person also said to just take off. No destination in mind just go.This is one thing that is at the top of my list.
The rest gave me all kinds of answers and here they are:
Would like to be able to talk in front of a group of people.
Graduate collage, is presently taking classes.
A few people said to go back to school.
One said to be able to afford to just stay home.
One would like to be a baker. She does make beautiful cakes and things for people now but would love to someday have her own bakery.
A couple of people would like to be nurses.
One would like to have a better relationship with their children.
One gave me two things: To go whale watching and see a whale up close. Also to go to a concert by an orchestra or see an opera.
A few did say they would like to go hunting out west.
One would like to write a book and get it published. He does dabble in writing and said he has been published in a few magazines in Great Britain.
See that their family is living comfortably.
Start a business.
Two people would like to become professional photographers.
One would like to learn another language.
One would like to learn sign language.
One would like to be a funeral director.
One would like to move to Arizona.
One would like to take sewing classes.
Someone would like to pursue music.
One would like to be a recognized inventor. He has invented a few things, mostly to do with fishing, I think.
One would like to be more creative.
One would like to grow and sell herbs.
One said she would like to be able to just sit down and watch a movie uninterrupted.
One said he is very happy with everything in his life and that there is nothing else he wants to do.
After asking this question I hope I was able to maybe set someone in the right direction and start pursuing their dream.
I have many dreams. One is to someday become a writer and other is to travel or both.
Dreams can come true.
