I know it's been awhile since I wrote here. Over a year. But it's always hard for me to find the right time to write when I'm alone. The husband is always around. Most of the time. Then why am I writing right now? Simple, he has a part time job and will be gone for a few hours. Plus, I'm on vacation for a couple of weeks. So I may be writing a bit here in the next couple of weeks. Maybe. So what am I going to write about. Well, one thing is what President Dweeb has been doing since he moved back into the white house. Bombing Iraq. What an idiot. Thanks to this act I fear the world  going into WWIII is really beginning. Instead of it being started by Germany, the US will go down in history as the main instigator. I know Russia is attacking Ukraine because their leader envisions putting the USSR back together again. So maybe they will get blamed for triggering it. Dear Beings From Another World, I hope this letter finds you all well. I know your first questions are: Where is this coming from? Who or what is this? And why do you want to talk to us? To answer the first question:   This is where I am from. We call it Earth. We are the third planet from our sun. Planet is what we call things that rotate around a sun. A sun is the hot thing usually in the center with things rotating around it. At least that's what I call a definition. I'm sure you have your own way of describing things. I've been watching too much news lately. I usually get ticked off when ex president Dweeb is on or some of those other Maga morons. The last thing I just saw on Yahoo was a head line that said he said, "If he is not re-elected there will be a blood bath". How can anyone still stand behind someone like that? Someone answer me because I don't understand. All he does is promote hate. As for being a religious person, he can't even quote one thing from the bible. He says it's a personal thing. Most people who are followers of the bible can quote a lot of different things from the bible at the drop of a hat. He can't. He only wants to BE worshiped himself.  Why do people think he is the second coming? He, in my book, is the anti-Christ. He promotes hate instead of trying to find a solution to problems in better ways.  Does he understand that he can only serve for four years if he got elected again? I was trying to think of what to write here all week. Then I remembered a book I have called "...And you think you've got it Bad by Barbara Fairchild Gramm. It's a book with a collection of turn-of-the Century Life and House-keeping things and ads. It's really very interesting on the beliefs and the things they were encouraged to do or follow back then compared to today.  Here is an example: Care of Infant Many babies die before they are a week old because they are handled too much or not taken care of intelligently. The first bath coming too early kills many. Your very own elbow is the best test of the temperature of the bathwater. But before the child is twelve days old, cleansing of the skin can be done with olive oil or lard. Well, I see no one is dropping in to see what I have to say so, I guess I can write as much nonsense as I want. Be it the truth as I see it or just plan fiction.  Lets see what do I write today. Maybe how screwed we all are thanks to every leader in this little world. How did we get to this point that in most places you are afraid to just live and be you? Someone is always there to condemn what you are doing or they are just jealous that  you are living a content life. They just want to destroy what you have so they can bring you down to their level. If they are unhappy everyone else must be too.  Then you have the people that what to control everyone around. Make people fear them to the point that they feel they have no free will or thoughts that can be expressed without being eliminated one way or another. One way they use is religion. Well I'm back for day two or I guess you can call it Sunday. I'm not sure how many have or will look at this blog. It doesn't matter I guess. So today I will tell you about what I experienced a few weekends ago. The husband was out sitting on the deck. It was a very warm day for this time of year in Wisconsin. We had no snow on the ground. The temps were in the forties. Anyway I decided to join him outside. When I got out there it felt weird. It was completely quiet. No animals were making any noise. No human noise could be heard. The wind was completely still. It felt to me as if the world was holding it's breath just waiting for something big to happen. I didn't stay out there to long. I did have things to do in the house. That and  the air to me just felt so surreal it just made me feel very uncomfortable.  I guess the question to ask is have you ever experienced a moment in time where it felt like the whole world was holding its breath just waiting for something...

At least I'm going to try and be back again. I know it's been over two years since I wrote anything. If you are wondering I'm fine. Life is life. I did lose me mother to colon cancer last year. I also became a grandma again to another little girl. So I have two granddaughters. The husband was diagnosed with Parkinson's. Those are the highlights of my life right now that I can think of writing to you about. I'll add other highlights as time goes by. Right now my plan is to post something on the weekends. It's about the only time I can do it without to many distractions.  What do I plan on doing this time you ask. Well, I might be posting  what I like to call a survey question. I've got a list of them that I like to ask people from time to time.  I could once again comment on other happenings going on in the world. But I won't do that this time. Maybe tomorrow. I know the few of you who have followed me were beginning to wonder what happened to me. I've just not been in the mood to do much posting. Not to say I haven't had anything to say, I have. I've just not put it here. But I do think it's time to start up again. Anyway, I'm here now. I would like to talk about freedom.   Or I should say the lack of it.  For being a country that say it's the home of the free, it's not a very free one.  I thought that there was suppose to be a separation between church and state.  I thought peoples bodies were their own.  But I guess that maybe I should stop thinking and just obey. Last night before I tried to drop off to sleep my mind did it's best to stop that from happening. The recent ruling from the supreme court really ticked me off. How did we get here? How did we let those kind of people tell us what we can and can't do with our own body? Maybe we should also ban that little blue pill to even it out. If women can...

It's the start of a new year. The last two were not good for most anyone. Now we all know what happened so I don't think I have to repeat any of it, do I? I know I didn't post much last year. I thought about it often but I'm a huge procrastinator. That and I work a lot. So most days when I get home my mind and my body says, "It's time to think of nothing else. Sat down and relax." I can post some weekends if I really want to. But, unfortunately I end up working on Saturdays. So the one day I get off I have too many other things to do.  So we will see if I can be more creative this year. Three things that are happening this year are: The first thing, the husband is going to have corporal tunnel surgery. That happens this month. In February my daughter will give birth to our second granddaughter.  In March the husband plans on retiring from his job. Those are the main events that I know are happening. The rest is up in the air. As for things I want to happen...

I know it's been a while since I've written anything. I just didn't know what I could add to things that wasn't already being said.  The question that is often on my mind is: How did we get here? Then I realized it's because we are living in the time of Stupid. I like to say, imagine life is a bus. Standing on the side of the road is Common Sense. The bus is being driven very fast by Stupid. Stupid will not stop the bus and let Common Sense on because if he does then Common Sense will take over and the bus will slow down.  Stupid is not about to give up the controls.  Others who are on the bus right now are lazy, con men, egomaniacs, whinners, greed, manipulators, the very selfish, and that's just the ones in the front of the bus. Stupid driving the bus didn't just happen all of a sudden. There was a time when Common Sense was driving some of the time. They would take turns. Thanks to certain people always saying everything is fake, we have to hope for a better future. I for one am tired of the finger pointing and the blame game. Will it ever end? I'm trying to not let it be the focus of my day to day life but they make it really hard.  When you have doubt you have fear.  I keep trying to find better things to post but these issues always seem to take center stage.  I need some ideas to follow. I could try again to write a short story from time to time. I'm always thinking of ideas when I'm at work. But I don't have a chance to write there. And when I get home my focus is not there. Hello all! I hope this post finds you all well. I'm fine.  A lot has been going on in the world or should I say just our country. Here is is something that has been rolling around in my brain. about the recent events. Ready? Thanks to Mr. Dweeb (formally known as President), the country is on the biggest edge it's ever been on. At least in my lifetime. Will we be able to overcome the mess he has left in his wake or will we be forever dealing with the fallout? I want to say, we will get past this but it's going to be a very hard long road. He has sown so much doubt in everyone's minds it's going to be the hardest on his supporters or maybe they are followers. Not sure what to call them.  What is making this even harder is the pandemic. Between just these two things, life as we have known it will never really be the same again. But to make this problem even bigger, Mother Nature is making herself known also.  So I guess we are living in a trifecta kind of time. Whatev...

Here's to hoping that 2021 will improve things that we have had to deal with in 2020. I know that the things we have had to deal with not magically disappear. It will take time for the affects to ease up. Patients will be a very hard thing to have. We are very impatient beings. Change will take time. The thing I want to change right away is, NO MORE MASKS!!! This is the first thing to ponder for this year. When will be able to stop masking up every time we go out? The second thing to ponder is: Will President Dweeb step down? Or will he have to be dragged out of office kicking and screaming? Can he be the bigger man or I should say will he become mature and step aside? Or does he have a nasty surprise for the American people that will forever change us? Could we become controlled by another country? Or are we already controlled by another country? Did he have a deal with Putin that would make him president for life?  Lets see what should be the third thing we should ponder this yea...

I just wanted to drop a little Christmas note to you all. I hope to find myself dropping by more often in the new year. Till next time . Keep on pondering the pondering possibilities. 

This election has been exactly what I thought it would be. One big mess. Some people are just sore losers. The longer he drags this out the worse it will be for him in the long run. It will be bad for him anyway. When he is no longer the leader other things about him will be exposed and he and his family could end up wearing orange things. Maybe they will be the next "Orange is the New Black" cast . But one of the things I am fearing the most is, some of the people that support him.  Like this guy. Not to say his supporters are all like him. But President Dweeb does encourage some people to be very disruptive whenever possible.  One thing this election did expose, is the deep divides in this country are only getting deeper. I'm not sure this country will ever be able to feel safe again. That is the saddest part.  So what do we do? Well, no matter who you are, it is time to settle down. Take a deep breath.
